Arjun Malhotra, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Headstrong

An Alumnus of IIT - Kharagpur and Havard Business School, Mr. Malhotra is currently the Chief Executive Officer & Chairman of Headstrong's Board of Directors. Prior to Headstrong, he was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of TechSpan, which he founded with funding from Goldman Sachs and Walden International in late 1998. He founded and built HCL from a six-person "garage operation" in 1975 to one of India's largest Information Technology corporations. He took over the US Operations of the group in 1989 and grew it to nearly $100 million annual revenues. Mr. Malhotra founded the Prof. G.S. Sanyal School of Telecommunications at IIT Kharagpur through a personal endowment and is a member of the Board of Governors for that School and the Technology Foundation of IIT Kharagpur. The Jerusalem Fund of Aish HaTorah has honored Mr. Malhotra with the coveted Albert Einstein Technology Medal for 2001. He is also one of the founding members of SPIC-MACAY - Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth. This is today India's largest non-government, not for profit, social and cultural organization. |

Mr. Pratip Kar is a well known Finance specialist with an experience of over 30 years in the field, a major part of which was devoted to the securities market. An academically inclined professional, Mr. Kar’s interest areas are teaching and research in corporate governance; regulation and development of securities market, establishing regulatory architecture for securities market in emerging market. A key contributor to the transformation of the Indian securities market and in the formulation and implementation of policy for developing, modernising and regulating Indian securities market in his capacity as Executive Director of SEBI, Mr. Kar has also served as the Dean of Finance and Corporate Governance at the Tata Management Training Centre (TMTC). He has also worked with Stern Business School, Harvard Business School and Ross School of Management of Michigan University in delivering programmes on leadership and strategy at TMTC. Utpal SenGupta a Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a MBA Gold Medalist from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad led the US Foods major ConAgra's affiliate in India, Agro Tech Foods Ltd. (ATFL) as President and CEO for eleven years. During his tenure Agro Tech Foods developed from an edible oils company to a Rs. 1,000 crores integrated packaged foods business. Before joining ConAgra and ATFL, he worked for the consumer products giant Unilever in India and abroad for twenty-four years. He was also the Chairman of the AP state chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) during 2008-09. He has also been past Chairman of CII's National Committee on Food Processing and Chairman of CII's Foodpro '99. He has lectured on different topics at the premier management institutions in the country. Mr. SenGupta started a programme called 'Feeding Children Better' while working with ATFL and is actively associated with several institutions engaged in providing education, nutrition and healthcare to underprivileged children in different parts of the country. |

Mr. Jayesh Parekh is a Founder and on the Board of Directors of MobiApps, and has served on the Board since the company's inception in August 2000. | Prof. Bhattacharya is a Metallurgist by profession and an MBA from Cranfield Business School, UK. Prof. Bhattacharya has also completed a program on "Strategic Thinking and Management" from Wharton Business School, U.S.. Prof. Bhattacharya joined Indian Oxygen Ltd. (now BOC India Ltd.) initially as General Manager-Operations and finally rose to the level of Chief Executive, Eastern Region.
